Alecia Engelmeyer is vice president of public affairs at Weber Shandwick, a global strategic communications and consulting firm. With more than 15 years of experience in communications and public relations, Alecia has worked with organizations in the energy, defense, natural resources, manufacturing and agriculture industries to help tell their stories, navigate challenging communications and public affairs issues and build coalitions of support.

As a lifelong Minnesotan, she is invested in the future prosperity of our great state for all communities, especially those historically underrepresented and undervalued both in the metro and in greater Minnesota. She believes in the mission of Majority in the Middle and that effective progress is made
when we work and come together.
 

Alecia was a participant in the 2022-2023 Leadership Twin Cities Cohort through the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce and holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Minnesota.

Alecia resides in Plymouth with her husband and two young daughters. In her personal time, you can find her enjoying the great outdoors with her family and cheering on the Gophers.
